Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to lead complex data platforms on Databricks and Azure, shaping enterprise-wide architectures and engineering standards. This senior role embeds across teams to deliver scalable solutions and raise the bar for technical excellence.

Reporting to the Global Head of Data Architecture & Engineering, you will mentor engineers, own end-to-end data architectures, and collaborate with Architecture, Platform, AI, Analytics, Security, and Governance

Qualifications

• Extensive data engineering experience delivering production-grade data platforms and pipelines.
• Near-expert hands-on proficiency with Databricks and the Azure data ecosystem.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and raise team-wide standards for technical excellence.
• Experience designing end-to-end data architectures for enterprise-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Engineering delivery on high-scale pipelines and platform capabilities on Databricks and Azure.
• Write, review, and refactor production code to meet performance, reliability, security, observability, and cost targets.
• Define and evolve engineering and architectural principles used across the Data Organization.
• Mentor engineers at multiple levels and lead knowledge-sharing activities.
