Job summary

Neurophos is seeking a Principal Network Architect to own the datacenter scale-out architecture for our T100 platform. You will oversee the feeding path from Linux host networking through the EIC PCIe bridge, to NICs, and back via DMA into HBM.

The role demands RDMA production experience, kernel networking fluency, and strong architectural writing skills. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in datacenter networking, deep Linux and PCIe knowledge, and will define offload architectures, collaborate

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years in datacenter networking architecture with scalable RDMA deployments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux host networking stack, kernel networking, VFIO, DPDK or libfabric, and IOMMU/IOVA behavior.
• Proficiency in PCIe: root complex vs endpoint roles, bridges, ACS, Gen5/Gen6 signaling.
• Experience with merchant NIC/switch silicon and writing architecture specifications.
• Excellent communication and leadership across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end scale-out data path architecture from host stack to PCIe bridge and DMA into HBM.
• Define transport/offload architecture including RoCEv2 and UET.
• Specify peer-to-peer DMA topology and ACS policy across PCIe hierarchy.
• Define queue/completion semantics with software team.
• Drive NIC vendor selection and engage with networking silicon partners.
• Model/evaluate collective communication performance for distributed inference.
• Roadmap for future Neurophos DPU and scale-up fabric.
• Represent Neurophos in standards bodies and networking communities.
• Mentor engineers across Architecture and Software.
