Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Principal Product Architect - Data to lead the data architecture strategy across the organization. You will develop advanced data models, blueprints, and roadmaps while aligning IT with business goals and governance.

You will mentor teams, drive enterprise data patterns, and oversee cross-functional data initiatives to enable data-driven decision making. Hybrid work options available in Lone Tree, CO.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise architecture or related field.
• TOGAF or equivalent architecture framework knowledge.
• Experience with data management including ETL, data modeling, data governance, metadata, and BI/analytics.
• Ability to align IT with corporate and BU strategy; vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the company’s comprehensive data architecture strategy across the organization.
• Oversee the design and implementation of complex, enterprise-wide data initiatives.
• Develop advanced strategic blueprints, roadmaps, and data models for data architecture adoption.
• Drive collaboration across senior leadership, architects, SMEs, and the Enterprise PMO.
• Identify leading industry trends and recommend advanced data architecture strategies.
• Ensure data solutions meet enterprise standards and compliance requirements.
• Mentor IT teams on data architecture best practices and implementation.
• Develop and enforce enterprise data patterns, models, and standards.
• Lead integration of enterprise data across platforms with a focus on efficiency.
• Foster a culture of data-driven innovation and continuous improvement.
