Job summary

DriveWealth is seeking a Principal Data Engineer, Analytics to build data products and curate key data sources for internal and partner use. You will code 60–70% of the time, shaping the data architecture, and delivering scalable, high-performance data models and reporting solutions using Databricks, dbt, and Python.

You’ll lead major initiatives, collaborate across Product, Finance, Operations, Risk, and Trading, and mentor engineers while maintaining code quality and architecture across

Qualifications

• 8+ years of analytics/data engineering experience.
• Expert SQL with scalable data models.
• Advanced Python for data manipulation and APIs/AWS.
• Databricks experience including Databricks SQL and dbt.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle of data products from conception to production.
• Develop and optimize dbt models and data transformations for high-volume financial datasets.
• Write production-grade Python scripts for data processing and orchestration.
• Improve query performance and optimize data loading at scale.
