Tredence is looking for a “Principal Data & Analytics Architect / Consultant” with strong technical depth, business acumen, delivery & program management experience. In this role, we seek to build strong relationships and trust with new and existing customers across industry sectors.

This position entails a technical background in the modernization of data platforms and related applications to the cloud.

The role as a “Principal Data & Analytics Architect” will be the solution design, implementation/migration of large & complex data platforms and associated applications on Public Cloud. This is a client-facing role, and he/she will be a trusted advisor to our clients for driving next-generation innovation and a leader in advancing Tredence capabilities in the future. The role is a critical building block to our core market offerings in cloud modernization & migration. As an advisor to clients, you will collaborate with leaders in various divisions, domains, and geographies in discovering, designing, developing & implementing modern data & insights platforms for our clients.

Primary Responsibilities

· Responsible for leading workshops with different client stakeholders in discovering As-Is data & analytics platforms architecture, components, dependencies, downstream applications and user persons

· Define the migration approach, project estimations, timeline, interim milestones, and dependencies

· Develop the target state architecture tailored to client specific needs and requirements through objective analysis of different tools and services

· Lead conversations with client stakeholders in facilitating decisions on architecture and design

· Present Tredence modernization accelerators and differentiate value propositions

· Build a strong data & insights team

· Develop architecture and design roadmap aligned to Enterprise goals and objectives

· Coach and mentor delivery teams to accelerate delivery though frameworks, accelerators and utilities. Also, work with delivery teams in harvesting accelerators for future adoption and value.

· Demonstrate business value or return on investment from Data & Insights platform through extrapolation of cloud platform costs, implementation costs and the overall value proposition.

· Develop compelling visuals to communicate architecture and design to client stakeholders and partners.

Preferred Skills and Experience

· 12+ years of delivery & program management experience with a minimum of 6+ years in Cloud, Big Data & BI Analytics, Modernization, Migration, and Application Development.

· Strong expertise in data warehousing technologies, ETL process, and data integration

· Technical Delivery Management in the Cloud (Public & Private) with extensive hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud services and frameworks including BigQuery.

· Exposure to 2 Hyperscale Cloud Providers (GCP, Azure, or AWS) is preferred.

· Have worked in a client-facing role or at a client location.

· Ability to lead multiple teams with a strong focus on Delivery.

· Experience working in/with multi-vendor, 3rd parties, and client teams

· Good at people management and has experience leading onsite and offshore teams globally.

· Excellent articulation and written communication skills

· Provide thought leadership, lead innovation & ideation by leveraging evolving technologies to identify opportunities for efficiency in driving business excellence.

Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in science or engineering, having a Business Management Degree is preferred
