Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for Google Global Fleet-OneSource to define the architectural vision for data engineering enabling scalable data frameworks for AI/ML demand and capacity planning.

You will lead cross-functional teams across AI2 and GGI, driving system design decisions to deliver high-performance, reliable data platforms used by internal and external AI/ML workloads.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of experience as a software engineer.
Experience creating a shared vision with clear communication and a leadership approach.

Responsibilities

Lead the solution architecture for information engineering spanning data lake, semantics and ontology to deliver 100x more capacity for AI/ML demand growth.
Leverage deep technical knowledge across backend, frontend and data engineering.
Partner across AI2 and Google Global Infrastructure to define data flows and interfaces for supply-demand matching.
