Job summary

Google Cloud Sunnyvale seeks a Senior Engineering Manager for Fleet Distribution and Data Services to shape capacity data, topology, and dynamic distribution for GCE and AI/ML infra. You will guide three engineering tracks and drive real-time data architecture improvements.

You will lead an engineering team, set strategy and OKRs, ensure 24/7 availability, and collaborate with upstream and downstream teams while fostering a high-velocity, quality-focused culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience programming in C++.
7 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role and people management.

Responsibilities

Define the multi-year strategy and OKRs for capacity data and Holdback infrastructure.
Own availability, scalability, and 24/7 SLOs of low-latency RPC interfaces and large-scale data pipelines.
Serve as the liaison between upstream infra teams and downstream tier-0 consumers.
Recruit, mentor, and scale an engineering organization focused on sound system design and operational hygiene.
