Job summary

CyberCube is seeking a senior cyber risk analyst to develop insights and risk scores for our insurance industry analytics suite. You will own technology risk perspectives, validate models against real-world events, and translate threat intelligence into actionable scenarios.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams in a remote-friendly startup to deliver quarterly threat intelligence reports while engaging with clients and stakeholders at various levels of seniority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years experience in offensive and/or defensive cyber security.
• Fluent in Python / R, SQL, JSON/XML, APIs, and Excel to coordinate with Data/Analytics teams.
• Ability to translate real-world cyber threat behavior into modeling assumptions and scenarios.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop insights, scores, and features for cyber risk analytics products for the (re)insurance industry.
• Own technology risk perspectives including threat actor trends and security hygiene standards.
• Model scenarios and event families, manage assumptions and governance.
• Present methodology and threat landscape to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, analytics, and client-facing teams to deliver projects.
• Deliver cyber threat intelligence reports on a quarterly cadence.
