Job summary

CyberCube is seeking a highly skilled cyber risk analyst to join a team of cyber threat analysts, data scientists, and risk modelers. You will develop insights, scores, and features for cyber risk analytics used by (re)insurance clients.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cyber security, strong Python/R/SQL skills, and experience translating threat data into modeling assumptions. The role supports a remote-first workforce with options for collaboration across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in cyber security, computer science, statistics, economics, math, or related field.
• 5+ years in offensive and/or defensive cyber security; certifications preferred.
• Ability to translate threat behavior into modeling assumptions and scenarios.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and teamwork; entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience in agile, fast-paced startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, actuaries and risk modelers to deliver cyber risk analytics.
• Own technology risk viewpoints, threat actor trends, and security posture factors.
• Develop and manage scenarios and event libraries for cyber catastrophe modeling.
• Present methodology and risk insights to clients and stakeholders; engage with executives.
