Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience; Master’s with 6+ years; PhD with 4+ years.
• U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain Top‑Secret clearance if required.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification (e.g., CAP, CISSP).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security architectures for aerospace and defense systems.
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analyses; develop mitigation strategies and POA&Ms.
• Integrate encryption, authentication, and access-control mechanisms into platforms.
• Perform security testing and provide remediation guidance.
• Manage RMF, CMMC, and other certifications; author and maintain Security Plans.
• Lead anti‑tamper and cyber‑security engineering across the full lifecycle.
• Coordinate technology release and export controls to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security into the SDLC.
• Stay current on emerging threats and regulatory changes.
