Job summary

You will apply MPC, LQR, Kalman filtering and sensor fusion, guiding toolchains, simulation, and validation efforts from concept through commercialization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years with a Master’s degree, or 7+ years with a PhD, in controls engineering, robotics, EE, ME, CS, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Controls Engineering, or related field; combinations of education and experience accepted.
• Expertise in MPC, LQR, Kalman filtering, sensor fusion, embedded controls, and ML systems.
• Experience deploying real-time algorithms in C/C++, leading programs, and delivering commercial electromechanical products.

Responsibilities

• Define how powered athlete products sense, decide, and act in real time on resource-constrained hardware.
• Develop advanced control systems and intelligent embedded solutions from concept to commercialization.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, product, and sports science teams to validate solutions.
• Build simulation environments, data pipelines, and development workflows to accelerate progress.
• Advance embedded machine learning and edge-based intelligence for product performance.
