Job summary

Adsys Controls is seeking a Lead Controls/Algorithm Engineer to drive development and optimization of advanced control systems for precision platforms in a fast-paced environment. You will model, simulate, implement, and test control algorithms across electrically, mechanically, thermally and optomechanically integrated systems, working with cross-functional teams in Irvine, CA.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of relevant experience, a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace

Qualifications

• Strong background in linear and nonlinear control theory and state estimation.
• Proficient with Matlab/Simulink and Python programming.
• Experience with RTOS environments and embedded control systems.
• Experience with aerospace/defense programs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, analysis, and optimization of complex control systems.
• Model electrical, mechanical, thermal and optomechanical subsystems; simulate using Matlab/Simulink.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical and firmware teams to define requirements.
• Deliver robust embedded control software and integrate components.
