Job summary

Northrop Grumman in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Principal Contracts Administrator to support its Air Dominance portfolio, including F/A-18, F-5/T-38, and A-10 programs. You will join the program management team as an embedded member, handling proposal prep, negotiations, administration, and customer communications under a 9/80 schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor’s with 5 years (or Master’s with 3), FAR/DFAR knowledge, travel up to 10%, and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional work experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional work experience
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
• Knowledge of multiple contract types including Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials or Cost Plus Fixed Fee
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues
• Monitor contract and program to ensure contractual obligations are communicated and understood
• Participate in contract proposal preparation, negotiations, administration, and customer activities
• Develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters and ensure compliance with contract requirements
• Ensure timely delivery of contractual deliverables and submission of invoices
• Enter and maintain contract data in Contract Management System or Enterprise Accounting System
