You will partner with Appian Architects and Technical Delivery Managers to design scalable architectures and mentor high-performing consultants through multi‑month engagements.

Based in McLean, VA, you will travel up to 20% and guide clients toward enterprise adoption of the AI‑Powered Process Automation platform, delivering world‑class outcomes and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
• 8+ years hands-on software development or technical implementation consulting
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers
• Strong OOP, database design, data modeling, and SQL
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to support customer engagements
• US Citizenship for Public Sector roles
• Experience with enterprise acquisition or procurement solutions

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise delivery across the project lifecycle for major commercial clients
• Direct and mentor consultants through fast-paced software implementations
• Collaborate with Appian Architects and Technical Delivery Managers on system design
• Architect secure integrations using REST, SOAP, and JDBC
• Oversee data models and advanced SQL database designs
• Drive client adoption and empower clients to build processes independently
