Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager for Computer Vision to define the strategy and roadmap for the Computer Vision Platform and align with the broader product portfolio.

You will partner with internal product leaders to specify platform requirements, APIs, and scalable solutions that accelerate AI model deployments across cloud and edge environments, driving measurable customer value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical program management experience in platform/AI/ML or cross‑functional domains.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience building ML models, production ML pipelines, CV algorithms, or ML/data‑oriented products.
• Deep understanding of computer vision and machine learning, ML lifecycle (MLOps), data platforms, and AI infrastructure.
• Product vision, strategy, and roadmaps; experience defining metrics frameworks (KPIs/OKRs).
• Strong analytical skills with AI performance metrics, real‑time video processing, and inference optimization.
• Leadership at the Principal level; ability to influence senior leaders and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Customer‑focused with ability to discover internal/external needs and drive outcomes.
• Domain knowledge in video analytics for security/retail/manufacturing is a plus.
• Pathfinding for highly ambiguous concepts and early‑stage discovery.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Computer Vision Platform and align with Motorola Solutions' product portfolio.
• Lead internal partners to understand CV needs, define platform requirements (APIs, capabilities, scalability), and drive adoption of platform services.
• Write MRDs, PRDs, and user stories for core platform capabilities and CV products.
• Own lifecycle for central CV models and foundational AI infrastructure, from ideation through deployment and deprecation.
• Define, implement, and track platform metrics (adoption, performance, latency, cost‑efficiency) and customer outcomes.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer/partner discovery to identify opportunities and inform build vs. buy decisions.
