Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure and deployment systems. You will drive IaC best practices, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and secure scalable platforms across AWS and GCP environments.

You will lead efforts on monitoring, incident resolution, and tooling while collaborating with development, security, and operations teams. Office presence in San Juan twice weekly is required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 10 years hands-on Infra Ops, DevOps, or SRE experience.
• Strong Debian-based Linux proficiency and system troubleshooting skills.
• Extensive cloud experience with AWS and GCP.
• IaC tooling via Terraform, Packer, Ansible; GitOps workflows.
• Programming in Python and/or Golang; familiarity with CI/CD.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
• CI/CD pipeline design, maintenance, and monitoring expertise.
• Security-focused with knowledge of security programs and best practices.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK for monitoring/logging.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership mindset, and teamwork.
• Must attend the San Juan office twice a week.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure and deployment systems.
• Enhance Infrastructure as Code and enforce best practices.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and cost.
• Develop internal tools to streamline platform operations.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (FluxCD, Jenkins).
• Address container image vulnerabilities and standardize remediation.
• Create AMIs aligned with CIS/STIG benchmarks.
• Strengthen monitoring, alerting, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Troubleshoot complex production issues to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with dev, security, and ops teams to align infra with apps.
• Lead and mentor teammates; participate in cross-functional initiatives.
