Your Day-to-Day

• Support civil / structural design activities, including evaluation of structural systems like steel, reinforced concrete, and composite steel.
• Resolve technical issues related to building structure design.
• Address technical issues during fabrication, assembly, and construction phases, including troubleshooting and design justification.
• Provide on-site support at utilities, sites, and smaller projects when required.
• Utilize analytical tools such as ANSYS, LS-DYNA, GTSTRUDL (preferred).
• Maintain software compliance records and close out engineering corrective actions.
• Familiarize with industry codes (AISC, ACI, ASCE, AWS) and company policies.
• Develop sketches and markups using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Generate engineering documentation such as design change proposals and drawings.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Experience in civil/structural evaluations (preferred).
• Experience in the nuclear industry (a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• FE/EIT certification (preferred).
• PE certification or plan to obtain it (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
