Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned biopharma client services consultant to lead day-to-day project management and competitive intelligence efforts in the US biopharmaceutical market. You will build client relationships, guide junior staff, and identify growth opportunities across accounts.

You will develop expertise in cell therapy, autoimmune/AID areas, clinical development, and regulatory considerations while delivering high-quality, timely insights and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in biopharma client services and consulting is required; CI experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in cell therapy is required.
  • Strong understanding of the cell therapy therapeutic landscape and key industry dynamics and trends.
  • Expertise in autoimmune/AID is preferred.
  • Experience managing day-to-day project execution, ensuring high-quality outputs and timely delivery.
  • Experience structuring workstreams and managing junior team members.
  • Awareness of business development opportunities and ability to contribute to proposal development.
  • Strong grounding in therapeutic areas, clinical development, product strategy and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to quickly learn new disease areas and modalities.
  • Emerging client management skills.
  • Confidence interacting directly with clients, clarifying needs and presenting findings.
  • Ability to build trust through credibility, preparedness and thoughtful communication.
  • Ability to recognise business development opportunities and expand account support.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesise complex information and communicate insights clearly and structurally.
  • Willingness to support analyses while elevating the team’s work.

  • BA/BS required.
  • Advanced degree in life science preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Structure and manage workstreams

  • Serve as a core point of contact for clients and develop productive, enduring relationships

  • Support senior leaders in providing best-in-class client service
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across existing accounts
  • Shape proposals and recommend strategic growth pathways
  • Engage senior stakeholders, articulate value and drive account expansion
  • Develop and apply expertise in therapeutic areas, clinical development pathways, regulatory considerations and competitive environments
  • Serve as a knowledge resource to internal teams
  • Report to a Director, Associate Vice President or Vice President on project progress, risks and resource needs
  • Attend industry conferences or virtual events to gather competitive insights and deepen therapeutic knowledge
