Job summary

Sabre seeks a Principal – Capital Markets Technical Accountant to join the Global Technical Accounting team. You will be the technical SME for capital markets activities, translating US GAAP into actionable leadership insights while maintaining robust accounting controls.

You will lead research, own month-end close for debt transactions, and advise across Treasury, Legal, Tax and Executive leadership in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and CPA license.
• Minimum 4 years of technical accounting experience.
• Experience with debt accounting, derivatives and fair value.
• Experience in a Big 4 or professional services firm.
• Ability to document complex accounting treatments in memos and communicate to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting research and memos for capital markets transactions (ASC 470/815).
• Own accounting execution, month-end close and SOX controls for debt transactions.
• Manage servicing reporting and annual audit processes for securitization facilities (ASC 860).
• Support foreign guarantor financial analysis and international filings.
• Serve as technical authority for SEC disclosures and interactions with auditors.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline research and improve reporting throughput.
