Role Overview

Would you like to manage relationships with the Private Equity (PE) community and influence their decision to utilize Amazon Web Services for their portfolio companies' infrastructure? Do you possess strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, technical depth, and executive communication skills to establish AWS as a leader in the PE industry? The PE industry seeks innovative ways to create value through digital transformation, increased agility, and migration to the cloud.

Responsibilities
  • Shape and execute strategies to promote AWS within the PE community.
  • Identify and engage PE-backed companies with infrastructure needs.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with PEs and their portfolio companies.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to drive business growth.
  • Utilize Salesforce and internal systems to track engagement and progress.
  • Prepare business reviews for senior management.
  • Act as the primary liaison to the PE community on behalf of AWS.
  • Handle a high volume of engagements in a fast-paced market.
  • Possess technical knowledge in databases, distributed computing, cloud fundamentals, storage, and CDN services.
Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years in business agreements, negotiations, and execution.
  • 7+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience influencing organizational leadership decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a founder, executive, or business unit leader in related segments.
  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.
