Job summary

Metric Geo in Florida seeks a seasoned Principal Building Enclosure Consultant to lead a diverse portfolio of projects across commercial, educational, retail, multi-family, manufacturing, and institutional sectors. You will direct field investigations, testing, and forensic evaluations while guiding technical direction and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of building enclosure, roofing/waterproofing consulting, forensic investigations, or related work.
• Active, clean P.E. in Florida (or RA). Read and interpret architectural drawings, plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead field investigations, moisture surveys, pre-design investigations, and property condition assessments.
• Direct forensic evaluations of enclosure/roofing systems with distress or performance deficiencies.
• Oversee field testing of roofing, waterproofing, fenestration, and curtain wall per applicable standards.
• Review and approve architectural drawings, specs, and submittals related to enclosure systems.
• Lead QA observations and site inspections to ensure conformance with contract documents.
