Job summary

Noetica seeks a Principal Software Engineer, Full Stack to lead backend systems and APIs powering our document analysis platform. The role emphasizes server‑side architecture, data processing, and API design, with occasional frontend contributions.

You will collaborate with AI/ML PhDs, legal SMEs, and market strategists to build scalable infrastructure. You will own engineering excellence, CI/CD, performance optimization, and design patterns to ensure long‑term maintainability and high velocity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/related field.
• 10–12 years of professional full‑stack development with strong backend focus.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go and API design.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, database design, and data modeling.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and hyperscalers (AWS, GCP).
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React for frontend work.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, event‑driven architectures and web fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs for our document analysis platform.
• Write high‑performance server‑side code and data processing pipelines.
• Define efficient API contracts and contribute to service architecture decisions.
• Craft compositional API primitives for rapid productionization of insights.
• Build and maintain integrations with third‑party services and ML systems.
• Contribute to frontend features as needed to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Improve performance and reliability of data‑intensive backend operations.
• Advance CI/CD and engineering best practices for maintainability and scalability.
