Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a seasoned Principal AI Cloud Architect to lead the shift to an AI-first Cloud model on Microsoft Azure, designing, deploying, and running AI agents that optimize infrastructure and guide client adoption of AI-driven operations.

The ideal candidate has deep Azure expertise, hands-on AI/LLM deployments, experience with Databricks, Terraform, and CI/CD, and will mentor a small team while partnering with stakeholders to deliver enterprise-scale, secure, and cost-aware

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT, 10+ years in Cloud architecture (Azure preferred).
• 3+ years hands-on AI/ML, including 2+ years building/deploying AI agents in production.
• Experience leading engineering teams, hiring, coaching, and setting technical direction.
• Hands-on with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and agent frameworks.
• Knowledge of multi-agent design, RAG, and MCP patterns for AI-driven ops.
• Experience applying AI/automation to Cloud operations (AIOps, FinOps, IaC generation).
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence across technical and exec levels.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the AI strategy and roadmap for the Cloud unit.
• Build and mentor a team of AI and Cloud engineers (2–6).
• Architect multi-agent systems for AIOps and automation.
