Job summary

Capital One invites applications for a Human Resources Business Partner role based in McLean, VA. You will partner with business leaders to translate imperatives into HR actions, design talent programs, and drive performance and engagement across the organization.

You will collaborate with recruiting, compensation, learning & development, and associate relations to implement HR programs, using data to guide decisions and coaching leaders on organizational design and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience required.
• At least 3 years in human resources.
• At least 3 years in client-facing or consulting roles.
• At least 2 years in project or process management.
• Experience as HRBP including performance, talent management, recruiting, compensation, associate relations or learning & development.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement talent strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders and HR partners.
• Collaborate with HR functions (recruiting, compensation, associate relations, learning & development) to execute HR programs.
• Lead cyclical HR processes including performance reviews and talent management surveys.
• Address day-to-day HR issues with leaders and provide coaching on leadership and organizational design.
• Leverage people data to inform strategy and provide insights and recommendations.
• Contribute to priority initiatives across the Retail Bank.
