Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Electrical or Computer Engineer to lead verification of high‑performance digital ASICs and FPGAs onsite in El Segundo. You will design testbenches, develop coverage plans, and drive tool-supported verification flows.

The role requires 8+ years in RTL verification, VHDL/Verilog, SystemVerilog, and leadership, with security clearance requirements as noted. Onsite work at CA locations offers strong collaboration and advanced program involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and simulating RTL designs with VHDL/Verilog in FPGA/ASIC env.
• Strong verification/testbench development skills and coverage analysis.
• Familiarity with version control (Git/Subversion) and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and verification of testbenches for RTL blocks.
• Develop verification plans, code coverage, and functional coverage tracking.
• Collaborate across teams to improve verification flow and tool usage.
• Provide technical leadership for project verification teams and estimates.
