Job summary

Adobe is seeking a Principal Architect to design enterprise-scale Agentic AI security and governance for the Adobe Experience Platform. You will lead security architecture, privacy-by-design, and cross‑functional standards while partnering with product, legal/privacy, and executives.

You’ll influence governance, drive architecture reviews, and mentor engineers to ensure a secure, scalable agent-based platform at Adobe’s scale.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of software engineering or security architecture experience with distributed systems and enterprise-scale access control.
• Deep understanding of agentic AI architecture patterns: orchestration, tool calling, reasoning loops and multi-agent coordination.
• Expert-level knowledge of identity and access management, authorization models, and credential/secrets management (OAuth/OIDC, SAML; Cedar/Opa-style engines).
• Demonstrated ability to lead ambitious initiatives across security, product, legal/privacy, and infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end reference architecture for AI agents authentication/authorization across Adobe's platform.
• Evaluate and select frameworks, protocols, and platforms to support secure multi-agent systems at scale.
• Own security architecture for agent‑to‑system/agent‑to‑agent interactions: identity, least privilege, secrets, egress controls, and telemetry for audits.
• Embed privacy-by-design and compliance requirements into agent architecture with Legal/Privacy partnerships.
• Lead architectural reviews and set scalability, resiliency, observability, and cost standards with security as a core constraint.
• Create and maintain architecture docs, decision records, and threat models for implementation teams and leadership.
• Represent Adobe's agentic AI security posture to executives, customers, regulators, and standards bodies.
