Title: Principal Architect

Location: India, Remote

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Act as an architecture leader in a domain area for multiple or all of the following: design/architecture decisions, technical guidance, and support for project teams.
• Refine technical backlog items for 3+ project teams within the same domain.
• Create overall solution concepts or architectural directions for these teams.
• Provide guidance and support to developers in completing stories aligned with design and architecture plans.
• Represent design/architecture decisions of multiple project teams in the same domain.
• Drive continuous improvement of architectural practices across the suite.
• Participate in pre-sales activities and customer technical presentations.
• Coordinate technical positioning with key vendors such as Microsoft.
• Create conceptual designs/architectures for large-scale software solutions independently.
• Design, code, and configure solutions for Agile stories with significant architectural impact.
• Perform other related duties as required.

WHAT YOU'VE DONE:

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Sciences, or related field.
• 20+ years of total work experience in software development.
• Minimum 12 years of experience as a Technical Architect designing and building architecture for various products.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Expertise in object-oriented design, .NET & C# frameworks, enterprise application architecture, distributed software patterns.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases, cloud platforms, XML technologies, software security, and full-stack development.
• Insurance domain knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and independent working skills.
