Required Skills:

• Extensive experience leading development and optimizing large-scale Angular applications, including:
• Performance optimization at scale
• Designing front-end architectures based on Angular best practices
• Reducing page load times, download bundle sizes, and improving Lighthouse scores
• Security hardening and patching of NPM packages
• Architecting and implementing automated testing
• Collaborating with UX designers to create visually appealing front-end applications
• Working with APIs including REST and GraphQL
• Performing Angular version upgrades and maintaining NPM packages
• Developing intricate front-end designs using modern HTML/CSS techniques in coordination with graphic designers in Figma
• Serving as a lead developer on large software projects, with the ability to document, communicate, and train others on best practices
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and distributed teams
• Knowledge of secure software development processes to eliminate vulnerabilities
• Deep experience with Git, NPM, and command line tools

Activities:

• Hands-on development establishing new Angular architectural patterns
• Collaborating with designers to optimize UX
• Performance, page load, and memory optimization for Angular code
• End-to-end testing of the application with QA
• Security hardening and managing upgrades of Angular and NPM packages
• Troubleshooting Angular issues and training developers
• Integrating Angular with the C# middle tier using REST APIs and GraphQL
• Collaborating with DevOps to optimize builds and deployments
• Adapting to a fast-paced startup environment with variable workloads

Education/Training, Qualifications, and Certification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 15+ years of experience, or
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 12+ years of experience
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Angular, with deep expertise in the latest features and best practices
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Experience with SaaS, startups, and scalable architectures preferred
• Must be a US Citizen capable of passing background and drug tests
• If remote, willingness to travel to Knoxville, TN up to 6 times per year
