Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead Full Stack Developer (NodeJs & Angular) with experience in developing high-performing, scalable enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team working on high-demand applications, committed to high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and clients to deliver valuable software quickly. Our engineers embrace agility, retrospection, and continuous improvement, focusing on team success and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the team in designing and implementing scalable, cost-effective solutions.
2. Build applications following the latest coding practices and industry standards.
3. Design and develop business logic and backend systems for the MVP experience.
4. Collaborate with developers and QAs to understand the system end-to-end.
5. Write unit, integration, and automation tests.
6. Develop high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code.
7. Challenge ideas to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions.
8. Apply modern design patterns and architectural principles.
9. Support product owners and technical leads in planning future stories and designs.
10. Potentially expand role to include product support and QA responsibilities in the future.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Five+ years of full stack Java development experience.
• Proficiency with Node.js, Angular, Spring Boot, REST API, SQL, and database management.
• Experience working in an AWS Serverless environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Strong learner mindset for technical components of the domain/product.
• Understanding of technical best practices for Agile development.
• Passion for learning new technologies and cross-functional development.
