Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Principal Analyst, Operations and Health Systems Research in Milwaukee to design advanced data pipelines and forecasting models linking health systems use with clinical research outcomes.

You will integrate real-world data sources, apply operations research methods, and communicate results at conferences and in publications to support clinical trial operations and decision making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare or equivalent.
• Experience leveraging EHRs and care data with modern tools.
• Experience in ML, OR, data science in a software delivery context.
• Proficiency with Python/R and libraries like numpy, pandas, scipy, scikit-learn.
• Ability to communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex end-to-end data pipelines.
• Integrate real-world data to build epidemiological and forecasting models.
• Apply operations research methods to understand participant and sponsor behaviors.
• Communicate results at conferences and in peer-reviewed publications.
• Develop measures and metrics to assess model validity across lifecycles.
