Biogen is seeking a Manager, Data Management to contribute as an individual contributor within US Decision Sciences / Data Management. You will manage data sources, support pipelines, ensure accuracy, and enable analytics-ready data for reporting and field execution.
You will own data sources, validate data, and implement mappings under guidance from senior team members, collaborating with IT to keep pipelines running smoothly.
This is a hybrid position and will require frequent on-site presence at our Cambridge MA facility
The Manager, Data Management is an individual contributor role within US Decision Sciences / Data Management. This position is responsible for executing defined data management activities to support the delivery of accurate, analytics-ready commercial data for reporting, insights, and field execution. The role supports established data pipelines and works under direction from senior team members to manage assigned data sources, feeds, or components of larger pipelines. The Manager applies strong data fundamentals to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness within a clearly defined scope.

Bachelor's degree required (Data Sciences, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field) Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management, analytics enablement, or related roles within biotech/pharma, healthcare, or consulting Experience supporting commercial data sources (e.g., CRM, claims, prescription, specialty pharmacy, market data) Thorough knowledge of at least one of the following data sets: IQVIA, Komodo, Clarivate Hands-on experience supporting data pipelines from ingestion through analytics-ready delivery Working knowledge of data validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks Ability to interpret and implement data requirements, mappings, and documentation Basic to intermediate experience with SQL and modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, cloud data warehouses) Experience working with analytics, reporting, and IT partners Job Level: Management
The base compensation range for this role is: $122,000.00-$163,000.00 Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity. Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
