Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Austin, TX seeks an experienced Analog Validation Engineer/Architect to validate KPI metrics for analog circuits across platforms. You will automate measurements, configure DUTs, and generate concise reports for silicon and board interactions.

The role requires deep lab experience, strong C programming, and scripting, with collaboration across Design, Product, and Test teams. AI prompting for software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 12+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with high-speed/RF lab equipment including oscilloscopes, BER testers, vector network analyzers, phase noise analyzers.
• C programming experience. TestStand and Python a plus.
• Data analysis using Excel, JMP, and/or PowerBI.
• Debug hardware setups and schematic reading.

Responsibilities

• Build parametric validation plans from electrical specifications.
• Write software to configure device under test (DUT) for required test cases.
• Create hardware automation sequences to perform parametric measurements over process, voltage, temperature, and DUT configurations.
• Analyze parametric data to report pass/fail/margin to electrical specs and generate summary reports.
• Interface with Design, Product & Test Engineering, Applications, Software, Product Analysis teams to debug IP-related issues.
• Research and recommend hardware required to perform required measurements.
• Generate hardware design requirements and participate in schematic and layout reviews.

## Principal Analog Validation EngineerApply: Austin (Oakhill, Office): Full time: Posted Today: R-10066594The Analog Validation Engineer / Architect is responsible for comprehensive validation of key product indicators (KPI's) as defined in the system compliance matrix for all analog circuitry in any given platform. This means understanding everything that needs to be measured and how to do those measurements in the most highly automated fashion possible. This also means reporting out those measurements in the most concise, clear and comprehensive possible ways.
