Job summary

Echodyne is seeking a Principal Analog and Mixed-Signal Electrical Engineer to join the Advanced Technology Development team in Kirkland, WA. You will lead new circuit architectures, signal-chain development, power solutions, and rapid hardware prototyping for future radar products.

With strong hands-on expertise and judgment, you will shepherd hardware from architecture through characterization and product transition, collaborating across RF, FPGA, PCB, systems, and manufacturing to deliver

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or closely related field; 12+ years of relevant hardware development experience (or equivalent)
• Strong hands-on analog and mixed-signal design across architecture, schematic, simulation, bring-up, characterization and verification
• Export-control eligibility (ITAR/EAR) and ability to handle sensitive information

Responsibilities

• Lead analog, mixed-signal, timing, data-conversion, and power technology development for Echodyne radar platforms
• Translate system needs into receiver interfaces, clocking architectures, power circuits and reference designs
• Design, simulate, build, bring up, and characterize prototype hardware to prove feasibility and reduce risk
• Collaborate with RF, FPGA, PCB, systems, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver hardware within constraints
• Apply best practices for reliability, DFM, DFA, SI/PI, and testability
• Provide principal-level leadership through architecture reviews, mentoring, and transition of capabilities to product development
