Job summary

Footbridge Federal seeks an experienced AI software engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-scale AI components supporting agentic, multi-agent orchestration and planning. You will integrate AI capabilities with existing enterprise apps and APIs while ensuring security and lifecycle maintenance.

The role requires hands-on work with Python/Java/C++, LLM solutions, and orchestration frameworks, plus CI/CD and DevSecOps practices in a defense-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, ML, or related field.
• Strong background in AI/ML software design and development.
• Experience building/integrating LLM applications and agentic AI solutions.
• Hands-on with AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel).
• Experience integrating REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise software.
• Familiarity with Git, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and Agile/DevSecOps.

Job description

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software components for an enterprise-level agentic AI framework
• Build and integrate intelligent AI agents capable of collaborative multi-agent orchestration, task delegation, and planning
• Connect AI capabilities with existing enterprise applications, APIs, and mission systems
• Maintain, optimize, and secure deployed AI frameworks throughout their lifecycle, troubleshooting performance issues and resolving defects
• Participate in Agile processes, code reviews, system architecture planning, and CI/CD pipeline management
• Implement secure software development practices and support vulnerability remediation

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong background in designing and developing AI/ML software applications using Python, Java, or C++
• Proven experience building or integrating LLM applications and agentic AI solutions
• Hands-on experience with AI orchestration frameworks (such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel)
• Experience integrating REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise software
• Familiarity with Git, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automated CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and Agile/DevSecOps methodologies

• Knowledge of MLOps tools and machine learning lifecycle management
• Experience implementing secure AI solutions within classified federal environments
