Job summary

The position requires a strong background in Python or Rust, large-scale system design, and experience deploying AI-driven architectures across cloud environments. Hybrid work arrangements and extensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Bachelors +15 years of experience in back-end software architecture and core software development using Python, Rust, or similar high-performance languages.
• Experience architecting and deploying large-scale, AI-spec driven applications and complex agentic workflows.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and architectural automation, specifically Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience in leading large-scale technical initiatives and influencing cross-functional engineering organizations through the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define the architectural strategy for the Cisco IQ Services framework and drive AI-first workflows.
• Champion agentic AI-driven workflows for complex tasks and MC P integrations and prompt orchestration.
• Lead cross-functional engineering initiatives across the lifecycle to deliver scalable backend systems.
