Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer within the Customer Experience (CX) Engineering organization. You will build AI-driven solutions, create robust Python applications, and scale services with Docker and Kubernetes across AWS/Azure/GCP. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.

The role emphasizes design, reliability, and rapid SDLC acceleration using AI-assisted development tools. Prior experience with LLMs and AI frameworks is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience or Master's with 3+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, scalable RESTful APIs, and microservices with AI/LLM capabilities.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes across major cloud platforms.
• Ensure opertional stability with Pytest, code reviews, post-mortems, and on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to translate requirements into delivered features.
