Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Principal AI Security Solutions Architect to define and drive technical strategy for secure AI adoption across North America. You will work with CISOs, Chief AI Officers, security leaders, enterprise architects, and builders as they move generative AI and agentic systems into production.

You will operate across organizational boundaries, align teams around a coherent technical direction, and produce reference architectures, decision frameworks, and workshops

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology domains (software development, cloud, security, networking, data & analytics)
• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising roadmaps that guide IT transformations
• Ability to communicate across technical and non-technical audiences, including at C-level
• Experience in AI security, security architecture, and enterprise-scale deployments

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year technical strategy for AI security across AWS Security & Networking SA Team
• Advise senior leaders on AI security strategy, governance, and investments
• Lead complex customer engagements involving generative AI and agentic systems
• Define architectures applying AI to security workflows (detection, triage, investigation, remediation)
• Turn recurring problems into repeatable field mechanisms and reference architectures
• Establish outcome measures linking technical work to reduced risk and faster deployment
• Build durable relationships across AWS security and AI service teams and field communities
• Gather customer evidence to influence product strategy and service integration
• Create executive narratives on secure AI adoption for customers and AWS teams
• Develop principal-level technical capability across the SA community
• Identify emerging security risks and guide product investments and education
• Serve as escalation point for high-impact customer decisions involving AI architecture
