Job summary

Arrivia seeks a Principal Agentic Software Engineer, Quality Systems in Scottsdale, AZ to drive technical direction across AI infrastructure and data platforms. You will personally build core components and shape shared primitives to elevate engineering leverage across teams.

You will define AI quality gates, testing frameworks, and MPC integrations, mentoring engineers while balancing speed with member trust in travel platforms.

Qualifications

• Recent hands-on track record shipping software in the last year or two.
• 8 to 12 years of full-stack development and architecture experience.
• Advanced, hands-on use of AI coding agents and directing multi-step work.
• Deep experience with RESTful API design, distributed systems, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Set direction across multiple products and platforms, including AI infrastructure and shared primitives.
• Co-define prompt libraries, MCP server patterns, and quality gates for AI-generated code.
• Define how AI-generated code is reviewed for correctness, security, and performance.
• Architect automated testing, regression, and AI evaluation systems for broad adoption.
• Architect Model Context Protocol integrations for secure access to internal APIs and data sources.
• Define patterns and platforms that automate testing, documentation, code-review triage, and deployment checks at scale.
• Drive build-vs-buy decisions and converge on strategic standards to reduce complexity.
• Institutionalize prioritization mechanisms, AI launch checklists, and SLOs to raise quality and speed.
