Job summary

Humana is seeking a Principal Product Manager to define strategy and drive delivery across a portfolio of AI products in an enterprise setting. You will lead by influence with engineers, data scientists, designers, and business leaders to deliver impactful AI solutions.

You will own portfolio strategy, partner with business leaders, prototype using agentic tools, translate use cases into requirements, and guide evolution from prototype to production while maintaining governance and quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product or related experience with AI/ML or GenAI products shipped to production.
• Portfolio-level impact with strategy and cross-product delivery and executive visibility.
• Hands-on building with AI tools, prototyping, and understanding model behavior trade-offs.
• Experience building evals (golden sets, ground truth, offline and live evals) and using precision/recall metrics.
• Systems thinking to build reusable infrastructure across the org.
• Fluent communication across business and technical domains with ROI and roadmaps.
• Deep knowledge of modern AI/ML and GenAI (LLMs, agents, RAG, evals) for enterprise problems.
• Decision-making from first principles with incomplete information.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year portfolio vision and strategy for AI products.
• Partner with leaders to map operations and prioritize AI use cases.
• Prototype with agentic tools to prove feasibility and value.
• Translate use cases into buildable requirements and user stories.
• Drive delivery from prototype to production across the portfolio.
• Define quality metrics and evaluation frameworks for AI products.
• Collaborate on high-level architecture and reusable AI harness patterns.
• Lead cross-organizational teams without direct authority and influence governance.
• Mentor senior PMs and contribute to hiring and playbooks.
• Communicate strategy and ROI to executive audiences.
