Job summary

Shield AI in the United States is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Special Projects team within the Office of the CTO. You will own the product definition, roadmap, and metrics for the agentic AI portfolio, including Brain and Springboard, and an enterprise AI/data modernization agenda.

You will translate strategy into clear requirements, drive internal platform adoption, and shape foundation-model tooling while leading continuous discovery with engineers and executives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management for deeply technical products.
• Technical fluency: read code, work APIs/CLIs from a terminal, prototype with AI tools.
• Shipped developer tools or AI/ML products and drove adoption.
• Working fluency in LLM-based systems: agents, evaluation, context management.
• Metrics-driven operating style with KPIs and thresholds.
• Exceptional written communication for requirements and briefs.
• Proven stakeholder management up to executive level.
• This role requires travel to Shield AI locations 1-3 times per quarter.

Responsibilities

• Own product definition, roadmap, and metrics for the CTO office's agentic AI portfolio (Brain, Springboard, enterprise AI/data initiatives).
• Translate CTO strategy into clear requirements, milestones, and KPIs, and maintain guardrails.
• Drive adoption of internal platforms, reduce onboarding friction, instrument usage, track NPS and active users.
• Shape product direction for foundation-model based autonomy architectures and tooling lifecycle.
• Run continuous discovery with engineers, operators, and executives; convert findings into backlogs.
• Prioritize ruthlessly across initiatives with small teams and tight timelines.
• Analyze tooling and platform ecosystems; advise build/buy/partner decisions to leadership.
• Write strategy documents, product briefs, and executive updates.
• Manage transitions of maturing products from incubation to owning organizations.
