Job summary

Intuit, Inc. in Mountain View/New York seeks a Principal Product Manager for Mailchimp's Platform & API team to define the strategy for AI-powered platform capabilities, public APIs, and MCP experiences that empower a thriving third-party developer ecosystem.

You will own the vision, roadmap, and execution of API externalization, developer experience, and agentic access to grow high-quality apps and enable agents to operate on day one with versioned, schema-stable APIs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience building platforms and APIs at scale.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies (agentic systems, LLMs, MCP, ML platforms) and API / developer-platform architectures (REST/OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0, scopes, rate limiting, webhooks, versioning, sandboxes, SDK/CLI generation).
• Hands-on experience defining and shipping MCP servers or equivalent interfaces or proven docs-as-code concepts for agents.
• Strong track record delivering platform capabilities for external developers or partner ecosystems.
• Experience partnering with Partnerships, Engineering, and Go-to-Market to ship third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead a bold, multi-year vision and strategy for Mailchimp's public API platform, developer portal, and MCP server as first-class surfaces for human developers and AI agents.
• Own the four pillars of developer-ecosystem strategy: Federated API Platform, Best-in-Class Developer Experience, Third-Party App Lifecycle Management, and Trust & Governance.
• Identify partner data objects and events and map them into Mailchimp audience, events, and activation surfaces.
• Provide product thought leadership by VOC, support-volume analysis, ecosystem feedback, and agent-era research.
• Translate vision into a sequenced execution roadmap with measurable outcomes aligned to FY27 priorities.
• Lead the developer-portal modernization (Fern / Keystone): interactive docs, SDKs, CLI, MCC server generation, and versioned documentation.
• Establish MCP as a governed product with defined tools, runtime, scopes, auditability, and ownership model.
• Leverage AI for personalized, proactive developer and agent experiences including docs and codegen.
• Influence senior executives to evolve operating model for domain teams to ship parity without bottlenecks.
• Collaborate across Design, Engineering, AI/ML, Support, Partnerships, Security, Privacy, and Go-to-Market.
