Job summary

Verizon is seeking a hands-on architectural engineer for the Enterprise AI Control Plane. You will architect robust APIs, automated CI/CD guardrails, and real-time observability telemetry to ensure autonomous agents run safely at enterprise scale.

You will collaborate with diverse teams across Business Units to integrate models into the governance framework. The role emphasizes cloud-based AI platforms, governance, and secure workflows, with a hybrid work model and opportunities to impact

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in LLM operationalization, orchestration frameworks, model evaluation frameworks, agentic workflows, and automated safety testing.
• Experience in cloud architecture (AWS Bedrock).
• Advanced skills in Python and Kubernetes are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect and code automated CI/CD governance pipelines with guardian rails.
• Implement advanced agent simulation and real-time observability telemetry for production LLMs.
• Collaborate with AI Platform Engineers, DevOps/DataOps, Data Scientists, and AI product developers to integrate models into governance framework.
• Design IAM and routing logic within the Agent Gateway for secure autonomous workflows.
• Build API integrations connecting developer platforms with Verizon governance hubs.
