Amazon Inc. in Seattle, WA seeks a technically deep Principal Engineer to drive architecture and strategy for AgentCore, a modular platform enabling secure, scalable autonomous AI agents.

You will lead high-impact projects, set technical direction, and mentor engineers in a fast-moving environment. You will tackle hardest engineering challenges in Gen AI, build scalable systems, and influence the tech and product direction across the Agentic AI team.

Competenze

• 12+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 8+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• 12+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 10+ years of highly scalable systems experience.
• 15+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.

• Build a new AWS service that is trend setting in the Gen AI field, scalable and fault tolerant.
• Deliver strategic technical projects and design large scalable systems for the AgentCore platform.
• Mentor engineers and provide leadership on complex technical issues.
