Job summary

Claritev seeks a Principal Applied AI Engineer to build and evolve its AI platform, focusing on enterprise Context & Knowledge Layer, knowledge graphs, and agentic AI capabilities. You will design scalable production systems and collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into robust architectures.

Ideal candidates bring deep AI expertise, hands-on experience with graphs, ontologies, retrieval, and production engineering, plus strong leadership across cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on software/AI engineering
• 5+ years production-grade ML/AI systems
• 3+ years generative AI, LLMs, or agentic AI
• Experience leading complex technical initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, development, deployment of production AI apps and platforms
• Design knowledge graphs, ontologies, semantic models, and retrieval systems
• Establish reusable frameworks, APIs, and engineering patterns
• Drive end-to-end delivery from prototype to production
• Build agentic workflows for ingestion, extraction, and governance of enterprise knowledge
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate domain concepts into platform capabilities
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions
• Set quality standards for AI agents and knowledge
• Ensure privacy, PHI/PII protection, explainability, auditability
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring
