Job summary

VF Corporation is seeking a Principal Agentic AI Engineer to lead production-grade agentic AI development and enable low-code citizen developers across VF brands. You will own the pro-code extension layer, governance, and integration patterns while building reusable components and connectors.

The role emphasizes deep engineering across Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry, with focus on multi-agent orchestration, RAG pipelines, and scalable governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience (Senior) or 12+ years (Principal), with AI/ML systems experience.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Copilot Studio (low-code authoring and pro-code extension).
• Strong production experience with Azure AI Foundry building custom agentic applications.
• Proficiency in at least two additional agent frameworks beyond Microsoft ecosystem.
• Knowledge of agentic AI patterns: multi-agent orchestration, tool usage, RAG architectures, embeddings, evaluation methodologies, guardrails.
• Bachelor’s degree; Masters preferred.
• Experience with Sierra AI or comparable AI platforms for consumer-facing agents.
• Background in Power Platform administration, governance, and toolkit deployment.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture & design of the integration layer between VF’s agent platforms and enterprise systems.
• Architect secure, performant RAG pipelines grounding VF’s agents in enterprise knowledge.
• Write production-quality code (TypeScript, Python, C#) and deploy on Azure AI Foundry.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and custom connectors for agents.
• Define and enforce agent quality standards, governance, and observability.
• Own incident response for production agent issues and post-incident improvements.
