Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Dayton, OH is seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Level 2) or Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Level 3) to join our Global Supply Chain team in Dayton, OH. Responsibilities include sourcing, RFQs, negotiating pricing, monitoring supplier quality, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS. Ability to obtain Secret clearance is required.

Travel about 10%. Position levels depend on qualifications; salary ranges reflect primary and secondary levels grounded

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 2 years in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, and/or supplier management
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Government Secret level clearance within a reasonable period of time

Responsibilities

Sources and procures goods and services from multiple suppliers
Initiates RFQs/Proposals and evaluates proposed pricing
Ensures supplier quality and delivery schedules with internal customers
Identifies opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiency
Issues and manages purchase orders and supplier payments
Ensures compliance with public law and company policies and import/export regulations
Uses Lean Six Sigma tools with suppliers for quality and efficiency
