As part of the Energy Systems Global Supply Chain Solution (GSCS) Team, we have an opportunity for a Principal Advanced Reactor Procurement Manager to work on our Energy Systems business. The PPM will preferably have a strong technical and project management knowledge and will oversee all the procurement activities (pre-PO and post-PO) for Energy Systems with a focus on ensuring components are delivered on schedule, on budget, and meeting all applicable quality requirements. This is a US Remote Role.
This role is a key contributor responsible for large scale Procurement Projects, working with cross-functional teams and standard work to build, execute and report project implementation plans. Lead all procurement activities in assigned programs to assure readiness for pre-PO and post PO to ensure predictive delivery during execution.
The Energy Systems, PPM will partner with GSCS functional teams to assist with projects charter, benefits, and resource requirements. Responsible for monitoring active projects, updating status, eliminating roadblocks, and escalating issues as appropriate. Investigate, coordinate and communicate project changes. Contribute to development of a sourcing plan that will minimize risks, generate savings, and ensure predictive delivery through project execution.
As part of the Energy Systems Delivery Stream GSCS Team, the candidate will preferably have strong project management skills and be able to work and develop teams with strong procurement skills (RFx, Supplier Relationship, Contract Management) and technical background (i.e. civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to purchase equipment and services. Candidate is a direct interface to our internal customers: Business Unit, Engineering, Quality and Sales Departments as well as external customers on the Energy Systems contracts. Strong relationship skills are required towards suppliers with the goal to provide clear, timely and innovative solutions to the organization’s requests.
