Job Title: Principal Solutions Architect - Digital (Director Level)

Job Summary

• Leads the design and implementation of complex solutions, analyzing current systems to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborates with business, product, operations, and other technical stakeholders to facilitate architecture discussions, understand requirements, and scope opportunities, costs, ROI, risks, benefits, and constraints.
• Translates business needs into technical solutions, recommending technologies for the ecosystem and application integration through research on alternatives.
• Investigates emerging technologies, proposing strategic updates that balance innovation, feasibility, and sustainability.
• Develops, presents, and explains architecture visions to diverse audiences, evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and platforms.
• Designs high-level solutions, integrating modern fintech technologies with traditional banking systems for seamless payment operations. Maintains architecture documentation, ensuring scalability, security, and best practices.
• Articulates technology solutions, develops architecture standards, and conducts performance tuning. Supports product discovery, evaluates new tools, and provides technical reviews.
• Participates in strategic planning and technology road mapping, acting as a trusted advisor for technology integration. Works with external partners and vendors for third-party solution integration.
• Stays updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, ensuring compliance with standards and managing technical risks.
• Provides technical leadership, mentors junior staff, and fosters innovation and continuous improvement.
• Completes timesheets, compliance, and security trainings as required.
• Maintains awareness of risks within their area, reporting violations promptly and adhering to policies, laws, and regulations.
• Performs other duties as needed.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12 years of IT experience across multiple areas in a multi-tier environment, linking technology with business value and guiding stakeholders on technology choices.

• 12 years as a hands-on Lead Solution Architect in a multi-tier environment, with a foundation in Software Engineering
• 7+ years in Digital Banking, designing omni-channel solutions for Web & Mobile
• Experience with digital banking platforms, transaction processing, real-time vs batch processing, CRM, etc.
• Experience in digital transformation strategies and implementations
• Knowledge of system integration, data modeling, DevOps, domain-driven design, DevSecOps, and architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
• Experience with risk, compliance, and security standards (OAuth2/3, encryption, SSL)
• Familiarity with microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and cloud services (Azure & AWS)
• Strong background in Scrum, Agile practices, CI/CD, test automation, and related tools
• Deep understanding of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of banking architecture, core banking products, and mobility stacks
• Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven success in delivering projects
