Job summary

HCSC is seeking a driven professional to lead analytics for Medicare Advantage bid planning. You will produce value-add analytics to influence decisions, set goals, and shape bid strategy while aligning regional and national plans.

This remote role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and strong communication. Required are a Bachelor degree and 6 years in health care/insurance or strategic consulting, with Medicare Advantage Bid experience and proficiency in Teradata/SQL

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 6+ years in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting OR 5 years in consulting with strategic planning and business development OR 8 years in strategic planning, market research, or product development.
• Medicare Advantage Bid experience is required.
• Experience with Teradata/SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Python and Tableau experience is preferred.
• Experience leading and formulating strategy with ability to connect with people and teams.
• Ability to work across departments in a matrixed environment and drive results.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with business analytics and information synthesis.
• Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, evolving organization and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for assisting with leading the team with all divisional short-term and long-term planning as part of the Medicare Advantage Bid process. This roles’ primary responsibility is producing and maintaining value add analytics to influence decision making, goal setting, and overall bid strategy and meaningful outcomes. They will support and align regional strategies, our national H-Contract strategy, and product are service area expansion strategy aimed at optimizing bid outcomes to foster multiyear enterprise growth and margin goals. This is a multifaceted role, including project management, technical analysis, and long-term prioritization. This role will work continually with matrix partners over the life cycle of the bid to evolve the business and ensure enterprise and regional goals are achieved.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree and 6 years’ experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment OR Bachelor degree and 5 years consulting experience involving strategic planning, business development and financial management operations. OR 8 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry.
• Medicare Advantage Bid experience is required.
• Experience and proficiency in Teradata/SQL and Microsoft Excel required.
• Python and Tableau experience is preferred.
• Experience leading and formulating strategy with the ability to build strong connections with people and teams.
• Drive results by working across departments in matrixed environment.
• Interpersonal skills, including presentation, written and verbal communication.
• Experience with business analytics and information synthesis.
• Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
• Able to work within a very fast-paced, quickly evolving organization and manage multiple, complex priorities.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Advanced degree such as Juris Doctor, MBA or MHA.

This is a remote role.

Compensation: $92,700.00 - $167,500.00
