Job summary

HCSC is seeking a qualified professional to assist in leading Medicare Advantage provider network strategy from inception to completion. You will analyze network data, support leadership with analytics, and drive strategic initiatives across divisions in a fast-paced environment.

The role engages cross-functional teams, communicates insights to senior leadership, and contributes to the business plan for strategic network initiatives.

Qualifications

This position is responsible for assisting with leading short-term and long-term initiatives related to Medicare Advantage provider network strategy. This position will support and lead major, complex and strategic network initiatives from inception to completion. This position will analyze Medicare network data using internal and external sources to support the prioritization of divisional initiatives and track progress to goals. This position will assist the leadership team on executing the business plan, strategies, analytics and data needs for the division and working with divisional leadership on strategies and business plans for strategic network initiatives. This position will identify and present network trends and insights while interacting with all levels of cross-functional management, including senior divisional leadership.

Required Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years' experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment OR Bachelor degree and 5 years consulting experience involving strategic planning, business development and financial management operations OR 8 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry.
  • Experience leading and formulating strategy with the ability to build strong connections with people and teams.
  • Able to work within a very fast-paced, quickly evolving organization and manage multiple, complex priorities.
  • Work directly with corporate leadership.
  • Drive results by working across departments in matrixed environment.
    Interpersonal skills, including presentation, written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with business analytics and information synthesis.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
  • Analytical, program management and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications
  • Health insurance or healthcare industry experience supporting Medicare Advantage
  • Advanced Knowledge of Medicare Advantage provider networks, Medicare Advantage key performance indicators, trends, and financial acumen
  • Knowledge of Medicare Stars, Medicare Risk Adjustment, Medicare Finance, and Medicare Plan types, (i.e., D-SNP, C-SNP, EGWP)
  • Strong executive-level communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Experience digesting and solutioning for complex conceptual and operational problems.
  • Candidates that possess an aptitude of analytical up and downstream thinking, information seeking, have an openness to learn, and are thorough and detail oriented
  • Advanced degree such as Juris Doctor, MBA or MHA.

This is a remote role.

Compensation: $92,700.00 - $167,500.00
